Soda Blasting
Soda blasting is a technique which uses sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) to safely strip paint, rust, grease, surface corrosion, tar, graffiti, gum, mold, mildew and more from a multitude of surfaces. Used in wet or dry form, it is non-flammable, non-hazardous and environmentally safe. Materials ranging from metal and concrete to glass, tile and fiberglass can be safely cleaned using this method.
According to product lore, soda blasting was developed from the need to clean the Statue of Liberty without damaging the surface of the monument.
